Creating a peaceful room

Two things help make a room peaceful (in my opinion): 

1. Aesthetically pleasing. Whatever that means to you. I am all about simple right now, so colors that go together in a tidy environment is just what I need! 

2. Less stuff everywhere. Whether it is teaching your kids to throw their laundry in the laundry basket instead of on the floor… Or routinely going through their things so that there is not a bunch of trash stored under their bed… Or creating minimal wardrobes for them… It is 100% possible. 

P.S. We added this little nightstand from target – they keep their tea party supplies in there for now.... plus this cute lamp! And now their room is complete!
