Christmas in July!

This is the first year in several years that I am not doing Christmas in July – simply because I don’t feel like opening the storage closet and pulling everything out LOL! 

But I have loved celebrating Christmas in the middle of the year because it is super nostalgic… Even in years when we had hardly any money and there were very few presents under the tree, we would still pile the kids in the car and drive around looking for lights and drink hot chocolate and it was always such a special time! 

I am a little concerned (not too concerned 😂) that because of this decorating funk I have been in recently, and not decorating at all pretty much since winter.... as soon as I see the first leaf start turning yellow, I will be putting pumpkins in every square inch of my home! I guess we will have to see!
